The Zacatecas Mining Cluster is a non-profit association comprised of mining companies, product and service providers, academic and research institutions, and federal, state, and municipal government agencies. Its purpose is to foster product innovation, an entrepreneurial culture, and business development among regional suppliers to attract new investments, generate better employment opportunities, create wealth for the region, and leave behind sustainable communities.
It is organized by four committees led on an honorary basis by prominent representatives of the sector, with a president, a director and an assistant, supported by a whole network of partners, affiliates, and collaborators interested in doing mining together.
