Cimat Zacatecas Unit
The Zacatecas Unit of the Center for Research in Mathematics, A.C. (Cimat) is part of one of Mexico's most renowned public research centers in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. Cimat is a Public Center under the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (Secihti). What is Cimat?
Founded in 1980, Cimat is a center dedicated to scientific research, the training of high-level human resources, and engagement with the public, private, and social sectors. Its mission focuses on generating, transmitting, and applying specialized knowledge in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, with the purpose of contributing to the scientific and technological development of Mexico. Throughout its history, Cimat has consolidated a national presence through its main headquarters in Guanajuato and its units in Aguascalientes, Mérida, Monterrey, and Zacatecas.
